Role Summary:
Our client, an Integrated Energy Company, requires an experienced Business Analyst to join their communications and advocacy development group. The Business Analyst will be required to work with the business application owners to gather requirements for 2 solutions that need re-platforming and then conduct a market evaluation to establish the best options for replacement.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and clearly defining requirements
  • Support prioritisation of requirements: including populating sprints/defining high level milestones and plan
  • Identify and work with internal and external applications/platforms to identify how they align to the requirements
  • Help with communication back to stakeholders on delivery (through stakeholder meetings or any required reporting)
  • Support demo’s/communication back to users
  • Linking requirements to the business problems being addressed
Required Skills:
  • Significant, demonstrable experience in a digital/IT business analyst role
  • Experience owning features across the entire lifecycle (shaping to live service)
  • Strong experience in working in an Agile environment
  • Extensive experience of writing user stories
  • Experience of defining both Functional and non-functional requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent comms working with key stakeholders on Agile and Scrum Teams
  • Ability to take strategic direction from executive management and act on own initiative.
  • Ability to influence Roadmap decisions with the product management team
  • Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
  • Proactive working style, looking for and embracing innovation
  • A team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
Desirable Skills:
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Experience with business workflows and software technologies within the Energy Industry
  • Energy Industry Experience
  • Appropriate Digital Certifications
