Our client, an Integrated Energy Company, requires an experienced Business Analyst to join their ethics and compliance development group. The Business Analyst will be required to support the development teams and product owners delivering various business application products globally within the company.
Gathering and clearly defining backlog items.
Support prioritization of backlog: including populating sprints/defining high-level milestones and plans.
Help with communication back to stakeholders on delivery (through stakeholder meetings or any required reporting).
Support demo’s/communication back to users.
Linking development activity to the business problems being addressed.
Significant, demonstrable experience in a digital/IT business analyst role.
Experience owning features across the entire lifecycle (shaping to live service).
Strong experience in working in an Agile environment.
Extensive experience in writing user stories.
Experience in defining both Functional and non-functional requirements.
Demonstrate excellent comms working with key stakeholders on Agile and Scrum Teams.
Ability to take strategic direction from executive management and act on own initiative.
Ability to influence Roadmap decisions with the product management team.
Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
Proactive working style, looking for and embracing innovation.
A team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
Experience with business workflows and software technologies within the Energy Industry.
