Role Summary:
Our client, an integrated energy conglomerate, is seeking an EDM Specialist with a deep understanding of Landmarks EDM database to support our client’s wells data management activities. The role will have responsibility for scripting and running queries, bulk data uploads, and building and maintaining PowerBI / Spotfire data quality dashboards. The candidate must have an in-depth, first-hand knowledge of the EDM, Compass, and OpenWells data structure and how the data is entered on Oracle's front-end and back-end data storage. Expertise in creating and executing SQL scripts to access the EDM database is essential for this role.

Role Summary:

Role Responsibilities:
- Build or modify existing SQL scripts that can be used to query and extract data from the EDM database.
- Scripts will be executed in DataAnalyzer to extract EDM and OpenWells data for use and analysis in other systems.
- Maintain and Extend PowerBI / Spotfire data quality dashboard that measures, visualizes, and tracks EDM and OpenWells data quality over time.
- Undertake bulk imports and export of EDM, Compass, and OpenWells data sets as required.
- Generate periodic EDM data quality reports indicating data quality across the regions.
- Maintain and update the definitive EDM data field mappings list for all required data sets.
- Document the processes, tools, and workflows for SIM Data Management and Governance in EDM.
Required Skills:
- Data Management Specialist with at least five years of experience with Landmarks EDM, Compass, and OpenWells database.
- Thorough understanding and experience in developing and running SQL scripts on the EDM Oracle database.
- Expert-level knowledge of Landmarks DataAnalyser and Landmark DSIS is an advantage.
- Demonstrable experience in data management within the upstream drilling and well construction industry.
- A good understanding of drilling and well construction workflows.
- Knowledge of data integration and analytics tools is an advantage.
