ETRM S&T Support Consultant
Location (Including Home Working Ratio):
Based in Cham Switzerland or Rotterdam Netherlands (1 resources)
Offshore application support based in India (2-3 resources)

Travel Requirements:
25 – 50% travel to Hamburg, Germany/ Cham, Switzerland / Rotterdam, Netherlands, or France for onsite support. Depending on end user requirements.

Duration:
12-month contract – Likely to convert to perm for the support role

Role Summary:
This is a L2 position with at least 5 years of experience in ETRM / S&T. The expectation is that the analyst will be based remotely and need to travel to the identified sites as required to support the end users.

The candidate must have a strong understanding of the industry value chain and specifically around transactions and the function of the ETRM / S&T processes associated with commodity trading business in the crude and refined products space.

The candidate will also need to have a strong grasp of typical ETRM related KPIs such as PnL, MTM positions, specifically in light of mass and volume conversions and impacts and excellent understanding of typical ETRM processes such as deal capture, pricing curve management, reporting, administration modules.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • First level support for ETRM applications
  • Ticket management from reception to closure, including assignment and follow up with L2 and L3 support
  • Analysis and resolution of configuration issues within the ETRM application
  • Solution proposal and change request design
  • Support business users with ETRM system knowledge around critical processes such as price management, deal capturing, interfacing, tank and storage management, end-of-day / end-of-month processes
Profile:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in ETRM support role
  • Excellent understanding of transaction lifecycle (physical and financial products) within a commodity trading business
  • Ideally experience with crude and refined products trading
  • Very good understanding of typical ETRM related KPIs such as PnL, MTM, positions, specifically in light of mass and volume conversions and impacts
  • Excellent understanding of typical ETRM processes such as deal capture, pricing curve management, reporting, administration modules
  • Good understanding of critical business processes, which give the candidate the ability to prioritize support requests
  • Excellent communication and client management skills with a high focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to learn fast and apply knowledge in a flexible and combinative way
  • Very good English, German or Dutch is an advantage
Required Skills:
  • Service Now (or similar)
  • Vista – ETRM software (Upcoming project to upgrade or replace)
  • Good understanding of critical business processes, which give the candidate the ability to prioritize support requests
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent communication and client management skills with a high focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to learn fast and apply knowledge in a flexible and combinative way
