E&P is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to support our clients’ Subsurface & Wells (SSW) User community. The role involves providing enhanced desktop support to key workers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and devices and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide timely and effective technical support to SSW users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Configure and maintain SSW laptops, workstations, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
Offer personalized training and guidance on the use of new technologies and applications.
Proactively identify and resolve potential IT issues before they impact SSW user productivity.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of IT support services.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
Adhere to the client’s IT security policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years supporting executive-level users.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
Experience with video conferencing and telepresence
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
ITIL certification
ServiceNow experience
Desirable Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Subsurface & Wells IT Applications installation, Configuration, and support experience
High-Performance Workstation and Mobile Workstation Installation & Configuration
