Role Summary:


E&P Consulting has been providing services that support software Product Management within the energy industry for over 10 years. We have undertaken work in Product Ownership, Product Management, Portfolio Management, Business Analysis, Architecture, and Change Management. These areas fall under an umbrella we call Product Assurance. In the last 18 months, our footprint and capability in these areas have increased dramatically. Driven by digital transformation, and a shift in the Energy industry to embrace the Product Mindset, demand for people and services in these areas is strong and continues to grow. As a result, E&P is now establishing a formal Product Assurance Service Line which will bring cohesion and focus to the offerings we bring to our customers and consultants. We are now looking to add an experienced leader to our team to help drive the service line forward across existing and new customers globally within the Energy Industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Building on existing and developing new client relationships via past associations or by active marketing effortsProspecting for new business by using client relationships and driving business opportunities on a proactive basis.
  • Building a thought leadership position by creating contemporary articles on Product Assurance Consulting and/or by being a speaker at leadership forums on contemporary related topics
  • Recruiting bright/talented individuals who can adapt to the rigors of Product Consulting and create a good execution capability in the service line
  • Coaching and guiding consultants to manage a suite of products and develop multiple domain skills across the service line
  • Interacting with E&P Consulting Industry verticals to develop cross-selling opportunities, and upsell the Firms branding

Requirements:

  • Strong Expertise in software Product Management with an extensive network of contacts.
  • Highly knowledgeable of the sales process and deal commercials.
  • Experience in delivering against targets.
  • Demonstrable skills in communication, presentation, and influencing with credibility at all levels. of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven track record of consulting-led selling and experience in solution selling.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, and strong skills in developing compelling presentation materials.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills – the ability to lead a multi-functional bid team, to influence key customer stakeholders.
  • Strong mentoring, coaching, and development skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Certification in a relevant discipline e.g., SAFe, APM, scrum
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management
  • Similar experience within medium to a large consulting organization.
  • Energy Industry Experience
