Product Owner – Well Engineering Digital Portfolio

Location (Including Home Working Ratio): UK, US/Netherlands/India – 100% Remote
Travel Requirements: 10% - Occasional Workshops at the client site in the UK, US, or Netherlands
Duration: The end of 2023 with the likelihood of extension
Role Summary
The requirement is specifically for a domain Product Owner to work within Well Engineering Digital Portfolio for our client, an Integrated Energy Major.

Role Summary
The requirement is specifically for a domain Product Owner to work within Well Engineering Digital Portfolio for our client, an Integrated Energy Major.
Role Responsibilities
- Work with wells domain experts and technical teams to incorporate functional and non-functional requirements into product roadmaps.
- Backlog refinement and prioritisation
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Set sprint goals and oversee reviews
- Lead the development team
- Write acceptance tests
- Plan releases and upgrades
- Follow the work progress and work with squad members to address production issues during sprints.
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
- Sustain industry trends
- Product Owner experience and/or experience with software development processes
- Understanding of Wells engineering processes and/or Well Engineering software (Drilling, Completions, or Well Interventions)
- Experience in EDM/EDT or working with Wells Data Management processes
- Familiarity with agile ways of working
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
- Team spirit and good communication abilities
- Good organizational skills
- Wells domain experience with oil & gas super major or SI
- Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
