Role Summary:- Provide architectural leadership across upstream (subsurface, wells, production), defining and governing the technology landscape to enable efficient, scalable, and value-driven operations. This role sits within the M&A team, supporting integration and separation activities, ensuring that technology, data, and applications are aligned to deliver value through transactions. Acts as the bridge between business strategy and technology execution, enabling informed decision-making during deal cycles.
Responsibilities:- Define and maintain enterprise architecture across subsurface, wells, and production for M&A deals.
- Understand existing upstream architecture to facilitate pre-deal planning and discussions
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and separation execution
- Translate business and deal strategy into clear technology roadmaps and target architectures
- Ensure alignment across applications, data platforms, and infrastructure
- Govern architecture standards, patterns, and decision frameworks
- Provide oversight and assurance for major programs and transactions
- Engage senior stakeholders to align technology decisions with business priorities
- Drive simplification, standardization, and cost optimization
- Ensure integration across cloud, data, and legacy environments
